Gråsten Nor

Gråsten Nor is a meadow area of approx. 700 acres of land on the southern part of Ærø. Originally, the nor was a large, flat-watered sea area that was one meter below sea level.

The Archipelago Trail on Ærø is 36 km long, but can easily be divided into smaller parts. Experience beautiful nature and historical monuments on your way. Take an an overnight stay in a shelter or recharge in a outdoors hot tub. The possibilities are endless and the choice is yours.


In the area around Vitsø there are beach meadows, water holes and bird life with lots of geese and ducks.
