Ærø is served by five ferries - including one fully electric ferry and one hybrid - with departures throughout the day.

You travel to Ærø primarily by ferry

Travel by car or public transport and take the ferry from the southern part of either Fyn or Jutland. By car, the total travel time is approx. 3.5 hours from Billund Airport and around 3 hours from Copenhagen Airport (incl. ferry). Public transport is also possible; buses connect all ferry ports, and Svendborg is also served by train. Plan your route with the Danish journey planner app Rejseplanen.
