Art with light, landscapes and presence
At Minors Hjem in Marstal, Hilda Kieseritzky from Ommel is exhibiting alongside Monika Winschermann from Kiel. The two artists are friends and work with different materials, but their works revolve around the same moods and impressions drawn from nature.
Monika Winschermann presents textile works inspired by Nordic landscapes. In these works, you’ll encounter textures, colours and shapes that evoke thoughts of coastlines, skies and open expanses.
Hilda Kieseritzky’s paper works draw inspiration from the light and the sea around Ærø. The motifs reflect the island’s tranquil pace and the shifting moods that accompany life close to the water.
There is a preview on Saturday 13 June at 12 noon, with free admission on the opening day.
Afterwards, admission is DKK 20 per adult; children and young people aged 0–17 and dogs are admitted free of charge.
The exhibition is housed in Minors Hjem, which is Ærø’s last remaining unaltered skipper’s home.
