At GARNA (as they are simply called) they have transformed the old Sparekasse in Ærøskøbing into a creative corner – a cosy, little paradise for you who like to be creative and want to spoil yourself or someone you love.
The store's historic setting creates a calm atmosphere where you can take your time to explore the fine products in yarn, knitting designs, beautiful leather goods and art items from the top shelf. In the shop, they sell their own yarn, GARNA, which they have hand-picked in Italy and processed in their production in Denmark.
It is a family-owned company, which was created on a shared love of yarn, and today it consists of Birgitte, her daughter, Sabrina and sister Annette.
GARNA is created with love for yarn of the highest quality. Here you will find 100% pure natural fibers such as cashmere, alpaca, mohair, silk, yak and lamb's wool.
