Explore Ærø’s landscapes on your own
Imagine the feeling of gliding through the Ærø landscape with ocean views, open fields, and small villages as your backdrop—almost without the sound of an engine. On an electric scooter, you’ll get up close to your surroundings and can easily stop whenever the view catches your eye or when you feel like taking a break by the coast.
The island is easy to explore on two wheels, and with a range of about 50–60 kilometers on a single charge, you’ll have plenty of opportunity to experience the harbor areas, market towns, and some of the island’s most popular attractions all in one day. You can head toward Skjoldnæs Lighthouse, Søbygaard, Voderup Klint, or the colorful beach huts—and you set your own pace along the way.
Get started on an electric scooter
The scooters are available in two models. The model with a top speed of 30 km/h can be driven by anyone aged 15 or older with a moped or tractor driver’s license. The model with a top speed of 45 km/h requires the driver to be at least 18 years old and hold a car or motorcycle driver’s license.
Everything is included in the rental: helmet, lock, charger, and comprehensive insurance—as well as assistance in case of an accident. The electric scooters charge easily using a standard 230V outlet, and both battery chargers and extra batteries are available at the rental locations. This means you can explore the island without worrying about running out of power along the way.
