Free guided tour of Marstal Søfartsmuseum

During the summer holidays, you can take a free guided tour of Marstal's maritime museum and hear stories told by a local guide.

Join a guided tour of Marstal's local maritime museum, the Marstal Søfartsmuseum, embark on a journey through Danish maritime history from the 17th century to the present day. The museum is housed in five buildings close to the harbour, where you can enjoy experiences in no fewer than 37 exhibition rooms.

During the tour, maritime history is brought to life by a local guide who takes you behind the scenes and up close to more than 200 ship models, 130 bottle ships, hundreds of ship portraits, ship equipment and much more. You can also experience the original wheelhouse from the coaster Dora and get a feel for life at sea as it has been for centuries.

The tour is free once admission has been paid and is only offered during the summer. It is an exciting and educational way to explore the museum's many rooms, whether you are visiting the museum alone, as a family or with a group.

If you would like a tour outside the summer season, you are always welcome to contact the museum to enquire about your options. This way, you can enjoy a tailor-made experience when it suits you best.
